Voice to Text Apps

There are a lot of different ways to convert voice to text.

Some are really good.

Others are barely ok.

I prefer the ones that either cost very little or have free options. I know a lot of folks use services like Rev but dang that can get expensive quickly.

Otter

Crazy easy-to-use voice to text recorder. There is a paid plan but you get a lot from the free one too.

Headliner

Cool site that also has templates and works with video and podcasts too.

Notes

Notes is an iOS free app that does many things including voice-to-text. Hit the little mic icon and start talking.

Google Keep

Like so many Google products, this is totally free and includes a mic so you can talk your notes.

Clipomatic

Free app that does one thing – adds live captions as you speak. (iOS only)

Thanks for stopping by.
