Kevin Kolbe is among one of the greatest men who live in America today. And I don't mean that lightly. I don't want to go into all the things I know about Kevin, but I have watched him as a professional, as a creator, as a friend, as a father, as a husband.

And Kevin is the type of man we want our sons to become. That's my personal opinion of the guy. And there's nothing Kevin could ask me for that I wouldn't do for him. Now, as far as being a creator, Kevin's original.

He's fresh. He's fun. He knows how to create great videos. He knows how to create viral videos. He knows how to create videos in themes and groups that attract a demographic. He did this so well with his series on uh creators over 40 years old.

I had the privilege of working with Kevin um on a client account where we hired him and he came in as a coach and he did an excellent job and I enjoyed working with him. In fact, I wish he would have stuck around and been more of a full-time coach with us. But I loved the experience.

And if you're thinking about working with Kevin, stop thinking about it. Just do it. Whatever the project is, he will deliver. And you will um you'll meet a great man in the process.

Kevin coached me through "all the things" required for hosting a successful extended (24 hours), livestream that included a running stream of guests coming and going, giveaways, oh and that whole staying awake for 24 hours thing.

We covered all the basics, like best practices with equipment, avoiding potential potholes, keeping a steady hand on the rudder, and going with the flow. Running through the steps together was incredibly helpful, because it created "muscle memory" that kicked in when things got stressful.

On the big day I was confident and prepared. When three hours into the marathon my magic mouse announced it was dying, I smiled, breathed, kept the show moving, and looked for a solution. Thankfully, I remembered an unused trackpad that could substitute for the mouse, until it was recharged. Kludgy for the task but beggars can't be choosers.

When all was said and done, the event was so successful that at the 23-hour mark the audience was begging for a Part 2. Incredibly, a significant portion of them stayed with us nearly the entire time. I know, because I was there all 24 hours. All the advance preparation allowed me to relax and conserve my energy. Everything fell into place.

That's what can happen when you practice due diligence and consult an expert, like Kevin, to be sure you've got all your ducks in a row.
